And now, we have contract details as to what Batt will be making in Lexington. Per the official contract with the school, here is Batt’s salary across his six-year contract:

  • 2026: $2.6 million
  • 2027: $2.75 million
  • 2028: $2.9 million
  • 2029: $3.05 million
  • 2030: $3.2 million
  • 2031: $3.35 million
  •

Syndication: The Courier-JournalThe $2.6 million Batt will make this year would have been the second-highest pay of any college football AD in 2025, trailing only Penn State’s Patrick Kraft. UK also had to pay Michigan State a $2.5 million buyout to secure Batt’s services.

So, knowing all of this, how would you grade the J Batt hire for UK? Let us know in the poll below and down in the comments section!
