As they prepare for their inaugural season in California, having previously operated as Rugby ATL in Atlanta, Rugby FC Los Angeles has enlisted the services of the 27-year-old lock.

Standing at 6ft 5in, Vukašinovi? spent the latter part of the previous season with Doncaster Knights in the Championship after joining them following Wasps’ administration in November 2022. However, he departed the Yorkshire club at the season’s end and subsequently represented Northampton Saints as a guest player during the pre-season.

Rugby FC Los Angeles will kick off their MLR campaign on March 3 against the Utah Warriors at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles.

The CEO of RFCLA, Pete Sickle, expressed excitement about bringing Major League Rugby back to Los Angeles. He highlighted the leadership of head coach Steve Brett and emphasized RFCLA’s role as a valuable professional sports asset on the West Coast. Sickle also expressed anticipation for partnerships with entities like AEG to enhance the growth of rugby in the Greater Los Angeles community, following the team’s relocation from Atlanta in December.
