Shocking : Kentucky Wildcats New Look Roster Already Sending Warning Signs Across College Basketball

Kentucky has suffered a long offseason full of national criticism and rumors coming in from all sides. It wasn’t until Mark Pope turned things around on the recruiting front that people cut him some slack, but as summer workouts start to ramp up, onlookers are finally changing their tune on the Cats.

Most recently, Aaron Torres took to Pope’s defence on his podcast, outright gushing about what Coach Pope and his staff have put together so far.

“Essentially everyone recruited Alex Wilkins when he went into the portal, that’s all you need to know,” said Torres of the Furman transfer guard. But before even touching on Wilkins, Torres focused on the Wildcats’ floor general: Zoom Diallo.

“He is going to be better than a lot of people realize,” said Torres of Diallo, “a lot of people just didn’t watch him.” Torres went on to note that, in spite of Diallo playing for a subpar Washington team, his best basketball came when it mattered most late in the year.

Oh, and of course, Milan Momcilovic is a stud. But you don’t have to hear that from me or anyone else to look at a 48% three-point shooter and draw that conclusion. He’s a one-of-one asset that changed this Kentucky team in the best way.
