Chelsea reportedly could be set to ruin one of West Ham United’s transfer plans in the January window.
West Ham United boss David Moyes has one specific transfer plan that could be absolutely wrecked by Chelsea, it seems.
Mauricio Pochettino is very keen to bring a top-class centre-back to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.
And Hammers target Jonathan Tah is allegedly firmly on the Chelsea radar this winter, according to a report from Caught Offside.
The 27-year-old German has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium recently, and he recently refused to rule out an exit from Bayer Leverkusen.
Tah is an elite centre-back who is perfectly built for the Premier League, so missing out on his signature to our London rivals would be a really big blow for us.

Chelsea transfer plan would hurt West Ham
If the Blues are successful in their pursuit of Tah, it will be really bad news for the Hammers—he’d be the perfect January signing for us.
Standing at 6 feet 5 inches tall, he is an absolute giant and is incredibly strong in the air. The German possesses an impressive physique and is ideally suited to Premier League football.
In 33 Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen last season, Tah averaged 1.2 interceptions and 3.5 clearances per game. He also won an average of 1.7 aerial duels per match (Who Scored?).
With ongoing concerns about Nayef Aguerd’s suitability for the Premier League and the jury still out on Konstantinos Mavropanos, Tah would be the perfect addition to Moyes’s squad in January.
I would absolutely love the giant centre-back at West Ham.
However, with Chelsea eyeing a bold January transfer plan to take the Germany international away from Bayer Leverkusen, it may well be mission impossible for the Hammers.
And Moyes may well have to line up alternative targets for Tah.
