Nottingham Forest may face competition for defender Nino in the January transfer window.
According to recent rumors from Brazil, the Reds have indicated that they are willing to pay the 7 million euros (£6 million) required to activate the Fluminense ace’s release clause. However, it appears that they may have some competition for the player’s signature.

According to German media site SPORT1, Eintracht Frankfurt has surfaced as a potential suitor. They are thought to be eager to bolster center defense and may “obstruct” Forest’s attempts to sign Nino.
Dino Toppmoller, the team’s boss, has intimated that reinforcements are needed. “We want to play a good role in the Bundesliga and go far in the Conference League,” he stated. You’ll need specific personnel for that.”
Fluminense president Mario Bittencourt has previously stated that Nino will depart the club in January. And he has stated that it is the 26-year-old’s “dream” to compete in Europe.
Nino’s contract runs until the end of 2024. When he talked after winning the Copa Libertadores last month, he revealed there was interest in him and stated that he would only go if it was in the best interests of Fluminense.
