BREAKING NEWS: AUBURN TIGERS ADDS TOP 4-STAR ELITE QB AHEAD OF RIVALS TEAM

3 Auburn transfers that can revitalize the Tigers’ offense in 2026
A new quarterback and slew of wide receivers will take the field for Alex Golesh in his first year at Auburn.

With a brand new coaching staff and the revolving door that is Auburn’s roster after last season, the Tigers’ offense will have a brand new look in 2026 under head coach Alex G’olesh.

That could very well be a great thing, as the Tigers struggled to find any offensive footing under Hugh Freeze last season, only to see some production from that side of the ball after he was fired following Auburn’s embarrassing 10-3 loss to woeful Kentucky.

While the Tigers have lost a lot of talent at skilled positions, including wide receivers Cam Coleman, Eric Singleton Jr. and Malcolm Simmons, along with quarterback Deuce Knight, the quality of players that Golesh was able to land via the transfer portal should have Auburn fans excited for the upcoming season.

Here are three transfers that will have a critical role in revitalizing Auburn’s offense in 2026. Spoiler alert: they all arrived from USF.

1. Byrum Brown (QB)
With all three quarterbacks from last season departing, Golesh had to find a competent signal-caller for his first team on the Plains. The head coach found a good one in Brown, who played for him at USF the last three seasons.

Brown is electric with his arms and legs, throwing for 3,158 yards and 28 touchdowns last season, while also rushing for 1,008 yards and 14 scores. His familiarity with Golesh and offensive coordinator Joel Gordon makes the transition flawless, and the fact that he will be throwing to the same receivers he threw to while playing for the Bulls makes it even better.

2. Keshaun Singleton (WR)
Gone are every productive Auburn receiver from last year, but the arrival of Singleton (plus Jeremiah Koger, Chas Nimrod and Christian Neptune) from USF promptly replaced those who departed. Singleton led the Bulls with 50 catches for 877 yards and eight touchdowns last season, and immediately provides a threat for the Tigers.

3. Nykahi Davenport (RB)
If it wasn’t Brown running the ball for USF last year, it was likely Davenport with the ball in his hands, as he rushed for 612 yards and seven touchdowns. Now a sophomore, the Roswell, Ga., native will provide a powerful one-two punch with Jeremiah Cobb in the backfield.
