If Josh Allen continues on with his dominant play that he has displayed since 2020, he will easily be a Hall of Famer and it won’t be debatable. When the Buffalo Bills traded up for Allen in the 2018 draft, a lot of people were already writing the Bills off as they believed that Allen was closer to a bust prospect rather than a boom. Well, now you don’t hear anybody saying that the decision was bad for Buffalo.
While most people would agree that Allen is one of, if not the best in the game, not everyone has the same mindset. In fact, some people might even say that Allen is not a Hall of Fame player right now in his career, which is just absolutely ridiculous. However, Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone doesn’t think Allen is a Hall of Fame player in the league.
Recently, Scataglia listed current NFL players “who will easily make the Hall of Fame one day” and Allen was left off this list. Instead, here are the players that he listed:
Players on Scataglia’s list
QB Russell Wilson, New York Giants
QB Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
WR Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
QB Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
RB Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
K Justin Tucker, Free Agent
QB Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
EDGE T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers
QB Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
TE Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
EDGE Von Miller, Free Agent
EDGE Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns
OL Quenton Nelson, Indianapolis Colts
WR Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
CB Jalen Ramsey, Miami Dolphins
WR Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
DE Cameron Jordan, New Orleans Saints
OL Trent Williams, San Francisco 49ers
FB Kyle Juszczyk, San Francisco 49ers
WR Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
LB Bobby Wagner, Washington Commanders
OL Lane Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles
OL Joel Bitonio, Cleveland Browns
P Johnny Hekker, Tennessee Titans
EDGE Khalil Mack, Los Angeles Chargers
Now don’t get me wrong, these are all fantastic choices to be on this list. Each of these players have a case to be considered a Hall of Fame player right now, yet Allen doesn’t? Yeah, I don’t think that’s right at all.
