Breaking News Done Deal: West Bromwich Albion Wave Goodbye To Top Star After Agreeing Contract Deal With Ipswich Town.

As they return to the Championship, Ipswich Town will be looking for an immediate return to the Premier League, and one player they should consider is West Bromwich Albion attacker Tom Fellows.

The Tractor Boys dominated the EFL in previous years, with back-to-back automatic promotions from League One to the Premier League, but under Kieran McKenna’s guidance, they have failed to compete in the top level this season and are relegating with a whimper.

There have been some encouraging signals, but the most important thing for Ipswich will be the experience their players have gained, as well as the fact that they will now return to the Championship with something of an all-star team.

That being said, they could still benefit from some additional depth in key positions, and Tom Fellows stands out as a potentially excellent addition, especially if key man Omari Hutchinson leaves Portman Road this summer.

Premier League players that have had noteworthy seasons in the second tier, include Arijanet Muric of Burnley and Chiedozie Ogbene of Luton Town.

They built on that in the January transfer window, bringing in goalkeeper Alex Palmer from West Bromwich Albion and Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa, who had been sensational in the second tier for Liam Rosenior’s Hull in the 2023/24 season.
