Boston Celtics’ power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis won’t be suiting up for Sunday’s match against the visiting Golden State Warriors due to a left quad contusion.
On the other side, the Warriors will see Stephen Curry take his place in the starting lineup despite previous concerns over a right knee injury.
Porzingis, aged 28, holds averages of 20.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.8 blocks in 44 games this season, all of which he started. This marks his debut season with the Boston Celtics,, following his trade from the Washington Wizards in June.
The Boston Celtics are riding high on a remarkable 10-game winning streak, currently the longest streak in the NBA for this season.
