Another positive Kam Williams injury update
We are several weeks removed from the injury to Kam Williams, and Mark Pope and his staff are trying to piece together the roster after another injury.

So far, it has been a whirlwind when it comes to how this roster is playing, leaving a lot of the BBN hopeful that Williams might return before the end of this season.
Pope’s comments on his radio show Wednesday will only push those questions even farther forward.
“Kam is out of his boot. He’s eager to get back. He’s still a ways away, and there’s still a lot of question marks with how fast we can go, but man, he’s anxious to kind of jump back in this,” said Pope.

Overall, a return from Williams seems like a toss-up at best. Even if his foot does heal and he gets cleared, getting back into game shape for NCAA Tournament time is a tall task. He could change the ceiling of this team, but can the sophomore return and get back to his pre-injury form in the next three weeks?

Kentucky will need just about a miracle for that to happen.
