West Brom £1m summer signing left out as Ryan Mason makes four changes for Albion’s clash at Charlton
Ryan Mason has named his team for Albion’s clash against Charlton – as they look for a response from Saturday’s frustrating draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
Mason’s side were booed off against Wednesday – as the Owls held Albion to a goalless draw in a game where the Baggies against struggled to create chances.
The head coach has named his side for tonight’s clash and the big news is that summer signing Chris Mepham has been left out of the side.
The £1m signing from Bournemouth has been an ever present since his arrival – but he has been named on the bench with fellow summer arrival Krystian Bielik brought into the side for his full debut.

It is yet unclear why Mepham has been left out – although the defender is currently on four yellow cards and one away from a ban.
Elsewhere, Mason has made another three changes to the side that were held against Wednesday on Saturday.
Mikey Johnston, who has been one of Albion’s better players in recent weeks, has been replaced by Karlan Grant.
Aune Heggebo has also been handed a recall in place of Josh Maja. Maja completed his first full 90 minutes in Saturday’s draw since his return from a lengthy injury.
Charlie Taylor also returns in place of Alfie Gilchrist. The full back came off in the second half of Saturday’s game – and is named among the substitutes.
Albion: Griffiths, Styles, Taylor, Phillips, Bielik, Mowatt, Diakite, Grant, Price, Iling-Junior, Heggebo
