JUST IN: West Brom Now Interested In Landing Sunderland Starlet Ahead Of Sheffield United

Rhian Brewster ‘Unlikely’ to Stay at Sheffield United Amid Sunderland and West Brom Interest

Rhian Brewster appears set to leave Sheffield United after failing to agree terms on a new contract, with interest reportedly coming from Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, and Preston North End.

The 25-year-old forward is currently a free agent following the expiration of his deal last month. Although Sheffield United confirmed in May they were in talks to retain him, the two sides are said to have disagreed over the terms of a new deal.

Despite the lack of an official departure announcement, Brewster looks poised to move on, with Sunderland offering the lure of Premier League football after their promotion, and Preston managed by his former boss Paul Heckingbottom.

Brewster joined the Blades in 2020 from Liverpool for a reported £23.5 million but has struggled to meet expectations, scoring just nine goals in 119 appearances. His time at Bramall Lane has also been marred by injuries.

Rhian Brewster appears likely to depart Sheffield United.

While Brewster has spoken candidly about the physical and mental challenges he’s faced, he remains determined to continue playing at full throttle. His potential departure comes amid a broader reshuffling at Sheffield United, with key players like Vinicius Souza already moving on.

The forward’s next destination remains uncertain, but it seems increasingly unlikely he will remain at Bramall Lane.
