Jashari reveals Milan and San Siro ‘dream’ since age of 8
Milan will find it easy to convince Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari to join them, as he revealed he has been a supporter since childhood.
The Switzerland international celebrates his 23rd birthday next month and has been targeted by the Rossoneri as well as Manchester City.
While negotiating a price with Club Brugge might be tricky, Milan do have a distinct advantage when it comes to dealing with the player himself.
Jashari supported Milan since childhood
“My dream came true,” Jashari told HLN when he played at San Siro for Club Brugge against Milan in the Champions League earlier this season.
“In the second half, I looked up and saw this incredible wall in front of me, the Curva Sud of the great AC Milan. I was so proud to be there, thought of my mother, my family.
“As a kid, we went to see Milan vs. Barcelona and were right at the top, in the third tier. I was eight years old. Since that day, playing at San Siro has always been my dream, and suddenly I was there.”
Now Jashari could get to make it a regular occurrence and play in La Scala del Calcio with the Milan jersey on his back.
According to Sky Sport Italia, there is another important advantage, which is that his agents are Albanian, so new Rossoneri director of sport Igli Tare is already familiar with them and had initial negotiations.
An opening €28m offer is expected to be rejected, as Club Brugge are asking for €33m.
