Breaking: Sadly News Sacramento Kings Leaves One Of It Key Players Behind

The Sacramento Kings are heading into what could be a hectic offseason.

Following their exit from the NBA Play-In Tournament, they face a pivotal decision: continue pushing for playoff success or consider a complete rebuild.

Given the Kings’ history, it’s more likely they’ll keep aiming to compete.

It’s a logical move, especially with Domantas Sabonis anchoring the team as the league’s top rebounder.

Kings Eyeing Familiar Trade Target

In a surprising twist, the Kings traded star guard De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs and brought in Zach LaVine. While the move raised eyebrows—especially from Bulls fans familiar with the limitations of a LaVine-DeMar DeRozan duo—it gives new GM Scott Perry a chance to reshape the team. That could include moving DeRozan again.

Sacramento broadcaster Matt George recently floated a trade scenario involving a familiar name: Kyle Kuzma.

“He’s been linked to the Kings for what feels like forever,” George said. “Might as well keep it going.”

Kuzma averaged 14.8 points per game during the regular season with the Wizards and Bucks, but had a rough postseason. In Milwaukee’s five-game series loss to Indiana, he averaged only 5.8 points per game and failed to contribute anything beyond two fouls in Game 1.

Still, DeRozan could fill a need in Milwaukee, while Kuzma’s scoring could help the Kings through the regular season.
